ECO-Joists ®
Timber engineered Eco-joists consist of parallel stress graded timber flanges joined together with ‘V’ shaped galvanised steel webs. This precision engineered structural component is lightweight, strong and versatile offering the architects and builders the ideal product for 21st century building techniques.

Eco-joists can be manufactured up to 12 metres long reducing the quantity of joists and time to install. The longer joists would require additional support from below.

The width and height of Eco-joists vary subject the clear span required. The minimum size is 72mm wide x 219mm high increasing to 122mm wide x 425mm high.

The design and engineering calculations are supplied with all orders for regulatory authority’s approval.

Eco-joists are both lightweight and easy to install and handle on site. The open web design allows for the quick installation of services and utilities, as a result, reducing labour costs and on site build times. The application of Eco-joists with its design practicalities of being an open web based system, is used in a wide variety of construction areas in loose or cassette form for floors and roofs and is applicable for houses, flats and commercial buildings.

Floor Cassettes
As an additional manufacturing service we provide floor cassettes which incorporate ECO-Joists. Floor cassettes are ideal for larger projects, easily craned into position accelerating productivity.
